We are TAG TEAM KITCHEN
I am Marianna P. Judy, Baker and Founder of Tag Team Kitchen. I work along side my son, a young man with autism, baking handmade pizza crusts. Ben has a passion for cooking and we both have a love of home made pizza. Seeing what a challenge it would be for him to find steady employment with his communication disability, I developed this business to provide an opportunity for Ben and other people with disabilities, who have a true passion for food and kitchen work.

We began in 2016 in our home kitchen. Using my degree in education, 10 years classroom experience and 40+ years of baking know-how I adapted and modified baking techniques and recipes to suit Ben’s strengths. In the beginning we would take turns completing each step in a recipe, and I would often call that “tag-teaming.” Very quickly, he was able to independently prepare dough and assist me in baking.
With support and proven practices in place, Ben is able to provide a delicious and wholesome product for our customers to create their own pizzas at home, using the bounty of fresh ingredients they can find at farmers markets.

Being a part of the community through farmers markets is an important element of our work. As we share our food and build relationships with our customers, the community can see how all kinds of people can make a positive impact in society.
Working gives us purpose, and everyone who wants to work deserves a chance! That’s the idea behind Tag Team Kitchen.
